Overview

The Elco ELJ444R ALO Remodel Frame is designed for use in remodel applications where insulation contact is permitted. This low-profile frame supports Elco's 4" LED modules and trims, providing an airtight seal to reduce energy loss. It is compatible with various ceiling materials and is UL listed for safety and performance.

Maximum 2-Hour Fire Rated ceiling assembly can be maintained when installed according to the International Building Code, Section 714.

  • IC Airtight for direct contact with insulation
  • For use in IC and Non-IC applications
  • Low profile makes ideal in shallow plenum applications
  • Remodel tabs will not be completely covered by trim, painting may be required after installation or use of Oversized Ring (ELJ4OV) to cover tabs
  • UL listed under UL 514A Standards as a metallic outlet box
  • UL listed under 1598 Standards as a luminaire housing
  • Maximum 2-Hour Fire Rated ceiling assembly can be maintained when installed according to the International Building Code, Section 714
