Imagine your lights fading up and down smoothly, allowing your eyes to adjust to your rooms lighting. Full range dimming is possible with the Maestro digital dimmer, for up to ten locations. This dimmer is packed with convenient features: tap on to favorite level; tap off; tap twice for full bright; press, hold and release for gradual fade-to-off. Soft glow LEDs indicate the preset light level and serve as a locator light in a dark room. Lutron Claro wall plate included.
It is normal for the MAW-600H-WH to draw trace quantities of power through a light fixture when the dimmer is turned off. The dimmer requires this power to keep its internal circuitry active and will not affect the operation or light-level of the incandescent/halogen lamps that it is rated for. If a customer attempts to use the dimmer with LED lamps (which it is not rated for) this leakage current may cause the lamps to glow while in the off-state.
